What Is Involved in Office Dismantling?
A complete stripping-down, with no impact on the structure
Office dismantling involves removing all non-structural components from a workspace to restore it to its original condition, ready for renovation or return to the landlord. XLG teams work on movable partitions and modular partition systems, suspended ceilings and acoustic tiles, flooring (carpet, vinyl tiles, laminate flooring), secondary electrical installations (outlets, wiring in cable trays, non-structural lighting), light technical equipment, and office furniture.
Each project is planned in consultation with the client to ensure that it is completed within the contractual timeframe, without causing damage to the building’s structural elements and without unduly disrupting surrounding activities.
Responsible Management of Construction Waste
The dismantling of an office complex generates a variety of materials: wood, metal, glass, plastic, and electrical and electronic equipment. In an increasingly demanding regulatory and CSR environment, the traceability and recycling of these materials have become key selection criteria for clients.
XLG incorporates circular economy principles into every demolition project. Materials are sorted at the source on-site and then directed to approved processing facilities based on their type. This approach maximizes recycling and reuse, reduces the volume of waste sent to landfills, and provides documented traceability that can be used in the context of an ESG report or an environmental audit.

XLG coordinates its demolition work with your moving, renovation, and finishing contractors. This ability to coordinate multiple contractors is particularly valuable for complex projects involving contractual deadlines, lease return obligations, or construction on occupied sites.
An Integrated Hardware and Software Solution
Beyond demolition, XLG can handle—as a continuation of the project—the renovation and remodeling work carried out by the Hard Facility division, including partitions, electrical work, HVAC, and finishes, as well as the post-construction industrial cleaning provided by the Soft Facility division. This integrated approach reduces the number of points of contact, simplifies site management, and ensures that the overall project timeline is met.
