The "Committed" badge is aimed at companies that demonstrate a clear commitment to go further. This award recognizes our daily efforts to build a sustainable future by placing social, environmental and ethical issues at the heart of our services and relationships.

What we've already achieved

Since the launch of our ESG approach in 2023, several structuring actions have been taken. Creation of an ethics committee and an internal alert system; analysis of our suppliers and partners; deployment of sustainable practices: training in responsible purchasing, sustainable service offering and mobility plan; calculation of an annual Carbon Footprint on scopes 1, 2 and 3; philanthropy and risk management.

What we are initiating today

We are pursuing this ESG dynamic with a clear roadmap. Our actions are based on the improvement plan proposed by EcoVadis, as well as on our carbon strategy, with a target of reducing our emissions by a minimum of 3% each year. At the same time, our collaboration with Actiris reinforces our commitment to diversity, via a structured plan co-constructed with our Diversi'team. Last but not least, we continue to drive change internally to advance ESG in all our day-to-day practices - because every gesture counts.

Our plans for tomorrow

And what about tomorrow? We want to continue in the same vein, moving from commitment to sustainable transformation. In concrete terms, our ambition is to raise awareness and train our workers - who are at the heart of our businesses - in ESG issues. We also want to develop services that support our customers in their own transition, while making ESG criteria an essential part of all our actions, decisions and collaborations.

Diversi'Team

Diversity is one of our values at XLG.
A team of 10 ambassadors meet regularly to put diversity into practice on a daily basis. A range of different profiles, functions and backgrounds help us to go even further in our inclusion practices on a daily basis.

To structure our efforts and strengthen our commitment to the outside world, a partnership with Actiris has been established via a 2-year Diversity plan.

Living our values also involves identifying gaps. The courage to speak out and act in the public interest is something that XLG aims to encourage and preserve.

Do you have any certifications in line with your commitments?

XLG has been awarded the "Committed" badge by EcoVadis, and our Facility businesses are ISO 14 001 certified. XLG has also developed the XLG Safe & Natural range in partnership with the HTS Bio laboratory in France to meet the specific requirements of our worksites. This range, at the cutting edge of biotechnology, uses probiotics to guarantee prolonged product efficacy.

How did XLG calculate its carbon footprint?

Since 2022, XLG has carried out its annual carbon footprint by analyzing all its emissions across the three scopes: Scope 1: our direct emissions (vehicle fleet, fuel consumption, etc.), Scope 2: our electricity and energy consumption, Scope 3: all indirect emissions (purchases, travel, waste, etc.). This comprehensive approach gives us a global view of our environmental impact and enables us to identify concrete avenues for reduction. This data serves as a compass to guide our actions, with a clear objective: to reduce our emissions by at least 3% per year.
