Active in Belgium, Luxembourg and northern France, XLG is staffed by expert sandblasters. XLG offers an efficient sandblasting service adapted to all surfaces. This sandblasting service is offered entirely to companies. We offer you the possibility of carrying out your requests while adapting to your schedule. We analyze your requirements and offer you a tailor-made service. Our staff are experts in the field of sandblasting, an industrial stripping process. XLG responds to your sandblasting requests as quickly as possible.

Process

Effective sandblasting requires the right equipment. XLG's sandblasting equipment includes compressors and sandblasters. Our staff have undergone appropriate training for sandblasting services and therefore have the required skills. Sandblasting is a stripping process that avoids the risk of injury or poisoning. Consequently, it is essential to wear appropriate protective equipment, such as goggles, a sandblasting mask, protective gloves, overalls and ear protection. This equipment will prevent our employees from inhaling dust and particles.

Security

Our employees are also required to adopt ergonomic postures to protect themselves. To carry out sandblasting, it is necessary to adopt the right gestures and adapt the pressure of the compressor. Back-and-forth movement is recommended for best quality.

XLG can collect your parts, brackets or machines and restore them to their original condition. Our staff will then return your parts to you as good as new.

What's the difference between a sandblaster and an airbrush?

Sandblasting requires a very high consumption of aggregates. Airbrushing is much less abrasive-intensive.

What pressure for blasting?

The minimum flow rate is 400 liters per minute, with greater comfort achieved at 800 and 1000 liters per minute.

How to sand wood?

An airbrush is a cleaning process particularly suited to wooden surfaces. Depending on the nature of the wood, the spray pressure and granulometry of the granules will be determined.

Which abrasive to use for sanding?

The choice of abrasive depends on the compressor flow rate, the nozzle diameter, the blasting machine and the surface to be cleaned. There are 2 types of abrasive: recyclable abrasives and non-recyclable abrasives.
