We celebrated Sustainable Development Week at XLG!

At XLG, we recently organized a European Sustainable Development Week, 

an event that brought our teams together around the common goal of better understanding and integrating sustainability principles into our daily professional and personal lives. 

The week of activities was a real success, highlighting the importance of collaborative engagement for a more responsible future.

A dynamic, educational program

Our aim was to engage our employees by enabling them to propose activities that resonated with them. Several events punctuated this high-impact week:

• Sustainable food workshops: Our teams discovered how their food choices can have a positive impact on the environment.
• Climate Escape Game (Code Climat): A fun and stimulating way to tackle climate issues, with puzzles that put our knowledge of sustainability to the test.
• Ergonomics workshop: Well-being at work is also an essential component of sustainability. Our employees were given practical advice on how to improve their posture and work environment.
• Garbage collection: In the Liège region, teams have mobilized to clean up public spaces, contributing directly to the improvement of their local environment.
• ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) quiz: To better understand XLG's ESG commitments and initiatives, interactive quizzes tested and deepened participants' knowledge.

A measurable impact

Thanks to the enthusiasm of our teams, 169 participations were recorded across our various hubs in Belgium. These activities, co-organized by committed local ambassadors, enabled everyone to make an active contribution to the week.

Why a sustainable development week?

We firmly believe that every action counts. By raising our employees' awareness of sustainability, we are contributing to a change in mentality, which is essential at both professional and personal levels. The week gave everyone a better understanding of how small actions can have a big impact, both on the company and the planet.
