XLG is strengthening its presence in northern France with a new hub in Dunkirk

XLG announces the opening of a new hub in Dunkirk, a move that is part of the group’s growth strategy in France. This new site strengthens XLG’s presence among manufacturers in the region, building on 40 years of experience in industrial maintenance, facility management, and building renovation in Belgium, France, and Luxembourg.

This expansion is part of a broader growth strategy: In April 2026, XLG announced its goal of doubling in size over the next five years, driven in particular by the expansion of its regional network and by transactions such as the recent acquisition of Brouwir-Mawet, a specialist in air conditioning and heat pumps based in Milmort, near Liège.

Dunkirk Hub

Why a hub in Dunkirk?

The establishment of a hub in Dunkirk addresses the need for proximity to industrial sites in northern France. For maintenance managers, facility managers, and technical directors in the region, this means having a local point of contact capable of mobilizing the group’s full range of expertise, with shorter response times.

A hub backed by XLG's multi-division expertise, with a field-based focus in Dunkirk

From the moment it opened, the Dunkirk hub has focused on four areas of operation directly related to the needs of the region’s industrial sites: wastewater treatment, industrial cleaning, industrial painting, and dry and wet filtration for industrial facilities.

Industrial sanitation and cleaning meet the hygiene and cleanliness requirements of production sites, building on XLG’s Soft Facility expertise. Industrial painting, often combined with sandblasting and surface treatment operations, protects and restores metal structures and equipment exposed to the rigors of heavy industry. Dry and wet filtration rounds out this offering by addressing the air and effluent treatment needs specific to demanding industrial environments.

This tailored offering draws on XLG’s 40 years of experience in facility management and industrial maintenance in Belgium, France, and Luxembourg, as well as its track record with major clients such as Safran, Alstom, Aperam, and Holcim.

If you have any questions about the activities at the Dunkirk hub or would like to discuss your needs, the XLG team is available via the online form.
