XLG strengthens its leading position in Wallonia with the strategic acquisition of NewCCD

We are pleased to announce a new milestone in XLG's development. As part of our growth strategy, we have recently acquired NewCCD, a company renowned for its expertise in industrial maintenance and machining, based in Fleurus, in the Charleroi region. This acquisition marks an important turning point for our Group, and is perfectly in line with our ambition to become a key player in industrial maintenance in French-speaking Belgium and beyond.

A strategic acquisition for XLG‍

Founded nearly 40 years ago, XLG is now a major player in facility management in Belgium, with over 5,500 employees spread across Wallonia, Brussels and Luxembourg. This new acquisition not only enables us to double our business volume in the Charleroi region, but also broadens our range of services for key industrial sectors such as steel, cement, food, pharmaceuticals and aeronautics.

By integrating NewCCD, we add to our capabilities a 7500 m² machine shop in Fleurus, as well as a team of 80 highly qualified employees. This synergy of skills and resources will enable us to bring even greater added value to our customers, by offering tailor-made technical solutions to meet their specific industrial maintenance needs.

A commitment to quality and innovation‍

Adnan Uzun, COO of XLG, sees this acquisition as a strategic growth opportunity: "The integration of NewCCD's skills and customers is a major asset for our development. We are convinced that this acquisition opens the way to new prospects and strengthens our ability to offer high-quality services."

This expansion also testifies to our commitment to innovation and reinvestment in projects that bring added value to our customers and partners. XLG has always stood out for its visionary approach to facility management, combining technical expertise with proximity to its customers' needs.

Creating new opportunities for employment and growth

‍GatienLaloux, CEO of XLG and son of the company's founder, stresses the importance of this acquisition for the group's long-term future: "We are delighted to be able to create new jobs in the technical maintenance professions. This acquisition is not just an expansion of our capabilities, it's a further step in our commitment to contribute to local economic development while meeting the growing expectations of our customers in high value-added sectors."

With the integration of NewCCD, XLG continues to diversify its offering, which already includes a wide range of services: industrial cleaning, multi-technical building maintenance, asbestos removal, renovation, roofing work, disaster response, and more. Our aim is to continue innovating while remaining true to our mission of providing solutions tailored to each customer's needs.

A vision for the future‍

This strategic acquisition testifies to XLG's long-term vision and our determination to continue investing in the future. By strengthening our presence in the Charleroi region and expanding our technical capabilities, we are positioning ourselves as a key leader in industrial maintenance in Belgium and beyond.

We thank our employees, partners and customers for their continued confidence. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for XLG with this new expansion.
