Bilan Carbone 2024
Everything you need to know about our Bilan Carbone 2024
In 2022, XLG reached a crucial milestone by carrying out its first Bilan Carbone, providing a detailed view of its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated by its activities. This first assessment identified the main sources of emissions and provided a better understanding of the environmental impact of its operations, while laying the foundations for a well-thought-out reduction strategy.
Since this first initiative, XLG has carried out a Bilan Carbone every year to assess and monitor the evolution of its environmental impacts. For 2024, the analysis was carried out in collaboration with D-Carbonize, enabling us to refine the approach by integrating more physical data, including a detailed analysis of CO2e impacts differentiated by region and business line. However, this change in methodology makes direct comparisons with the previous year's results less reliable, while ensuring more accurate modeling of our emissions.
Here is an illustration of the results of our 2024 Bilan Carbone :

Driven by a collective commitment, we are stepping up our efforts with targeted reduction measures and the exploration of optimal carbon offset solutions. The results of Bilan Carbone 2024 were presented at a training session attended by over 90 employees, reinforcing internal awareness of climate issues and our concrete actions.
The following page details the scope included in the analysis, as well as the results of emissions by scope and by business line, providing a global and precise view of our carbon impact.
