EcoVadis Bronze Medal 2026
XLG has been awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Medal for 2026: a milestone that reflects our teams’ commitment!
We are proud to announce that XLG has earned a Bronze medal following its second EcoVadis assessment, with an overall score of 67/100 —a 10-point improvement over 2025. This result places us in the top 35% of companies assessed in our industry.
This recognition highlights the daily efforts of our more than 1,800 employees to build a sustainable future, by placing social, environmental, and ethical issues at the heart of our services and relationships. As we say at XLG: I’m doing my part, too!
But what exactly is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis is a globally recognized platform that assesses companies on their performance in sustainability and corporate social responsibility (ESG). Its network includes more than 150,000 assessed companies worldwide.
EcoVadis scores provide a detailed assessment of a company’s sustainability performance. By participating in this assessment, XLG is pursuing two clear objectives: to identify areas for improvement in its current ESG strategy and to develop targeted action plans to drive progress.
The assessment focuses on four main themes:
- Environment — energy consumption, GHG emissions, waste management
- Social & Human Rights — health and safety, working conditions, training, diversity
- Ethics — anti-corruption, data protection, responsible practices
- Responsible Procurement — Integrating ESG Criteria into the Supply Chain
Our Bronze Medal
The Bronze Medal recognizes companies that have successfully structured their ESG initiatives and demonstrated concrete, documented progress. It signifies that XLG ranks among the top 35% of companies in its sector in terms of commitment.
Last year, we earned the “Committed” badge—a solid foundation that demonstrated our commitment to going further. This year, the 10-point increase is a direct reflection of the actions we’ve taken: new measures implemented, enhanced ESG reporting, and the dedication of our teams on the ground.
The Highlights of XLG
Our 2026 assessment highlights several significant strengths.
Responsible Purchasing: 82/100
This is our highest score to date, and the one we are most proud of. It reflects a structured and documented commitment to our partners: a supplier code of conduct, CSR assessments of our procurement, contractual clauses incorporating social and environmental criteria, and training for our procurement teams—including through dedicated training programs and the Fresque de la Consommation. Our ESG approach doesn’t stop at our own doors: it extends to our entire ecosystem.
Social & Human Rights: 66/100
The well-being of our employees is our top priority. Our efforts have been recognized thanks to the many initiatives we have implemented: ISO 45001 certification, a whistleblower policy (12 reports handled in 2025 with 100% of responses within 7 days), anti-discrimination measures, the XLG Academy for online training, and an employee engagement survey with an 82% participation rate. In terms of safety, our accident frequency rate of 11.6 remains well below the industry average.
Ethics: 66/100
Our Code of Conduct, our ethics policy, and our compliance procedures—including anti-corruption measures, data protection, and responsible information management—have been recognized as key strengths. Regular audits and awareness training for our teams help make ethics a part of our daily reality.
Environment: 59/100
Since 2022, XLG has conducted an annual carbon footprint assessment—a rare practice in our industry. Our 2024 assessment shows emissions of 14,571 tCO2e, with 85% of emissions concentrated in three areas: transportation (42%), procurement (33%), and fixed assets (10%). We have also obtained ISO 14001 certification for our Facility business. This is the area where we have the greatest room for improvement, and it is precisely where we are focusing our efforts for 2026–2027.
Continuous improvement
Winning the Bronze medal reaffirms our commitment to continuing to implement initiatives that have a positive impact on our customers, our employees, and the environment.
For 2026–2027, our priorities are clear:
- Strengthen training for our workers on ESG issues
- Develop and implement a structured, scientifically validated carbon reduction plan using the SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative) approach
- Work with our customers to provide them with an ever-expanding range of sustainable solutions
The EcoVadis process is much more than just a rating. It is a practical management tool that allows us to measure our progress each year, identify our blind spots, and move forward in a systematic way.
Thank you to everyone who helps advance ESG at XLG every day. 🙌
Change cannot be imposed. It must be experienced.
