XLG strengthens its presence in Luxembourg with the acquisition of Propper
January 23, 2025 marks an important milestone in the development of the XLG Group. With the acquisition of Propper, a renowned player in facility management in Luxembourg, XLG affirms its position as leader in corporate services in the Grand Duchy.
A strategic alliance for a broader offering
Founded in 1985, XLG is a family-owned Belgian company with over 5,500 employees in Belgium and Luxembourg. With the integration of Propper, which employs 300 technicians and a dozen administrative staff, XLG expands its portfolio of services. Propper is renowned for the quality of its services, particularly in office cleaning, window cleaning, green space maintenance and common area cleaning.
This acquisition also enables XLG to strengthen its presence at strategic sites, such as 98 fire stations and 30 Leclerc hypermarkets. Propper's activities are now centralized at XLG's premises in Steinfort, a key location to support this expansion.
A shared vision for sustainable growth
David Gaeta, Regional Director of XLG Luxembourg, comments:
"This acquisition is a key step in XLG's development in Luxembourg. Together, we are strengthening our ability to offer quality services while ensuring sustainable growth for our customers and employees."
For his part, Gatien Laloux, CEO of the XLG Group, states:
"Our ambition is to grow rapidly, create new jobs and continue to offer innovative services. The integration of Propper opens up new opportunities for us to meet the specific needs of the Luxembourg market."
Continued growth momentum
This acquisition is part of an ambitious development strategy, which has already seen XLG acquire NewCCD in Wallonia. Today, XLG offers a complete range of 37 services, from industrial cleaning to multi-technical maintenance, including home care via XLG HOME.
Present in Luxembourg for almost 30 years, XLG continues to invest to consolidate its position and offer global solutions tailored to the region's businesses.
